So many new things I need and love. I like to post
things I want or think should be noticed. It is sort
of like therapy for me ...or more like art appreciation.

Wish List: Awesome Finds!
I like to go "screen shopping" all the time. I found great deals
on some amazing designer pieces. Since I can't have them
someone else should. These pieces are majorly discounted so
get to clicking!
Foley + Corinna Silk Jersey Cocktail Dress
$236.50 ShopBop.com
This lovely number caught my eye with its intricate detailing. I
love draped dresses and being a designer I understand the time
and work put into such pieces. It is completely worth the price tag
for such a timeless and beautiful piece. There are a variety of colors
but I found the dusty rose to be most romantic.
Marc by Marc Jacobs Variegated Jacket
$278.60 ShopBop.com
I love the fit and cut of this cropped coat. You could wear
it very formal with a pencil skirt or a wide leg trouser. Or
go a completely different direction with a vintage tee, your
favorite jeans and a nice heel.

Peter Som CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund | Fall 2008
I still have a few more picture from fashion week...These are some
from the American Express sponsored Peter Som show. It was to help
raise money for the Council of Fashion Designers.
The collection included Spring 2008 pieces as well as a few from
the Fall 2008 collection which had been shown a few days prior.
Good Karma and Awesome Food At Peter Som
Those are John Varvatos.
Limited Edition Christian Lacroix Evian bottles. These were specifically designed for fashion week. There are two in my life now.
These blue velvet Christian Louboutins were all alone and posed just for me.
I peeked into Temperley and got a picture of these ladies scraping
the souls of the shoes so the models don't slip. It was painful to watch.
I will do a review on all of the collections I saw in the next couple of
weeks. Just kind of busy with school and figuring out how to move to
NY by the end of this year. Soul cleansing is mixed up in all that as well.

Balenciaga Inspired Finds
It is no secret that I am a huge Balenciaga lover. Nicolas Ghesquière has
stolen a huge chunk of my heart that I will never get back. The Fall 2007
collection was so memorable and inspiring. And it is no surprise that I've
been seeing so many Balenciaga inspired pieces everywhere.
Balenciaga Fall 2007
However, it was a surprise coming from Old Navy. There are
numerous pieces with tribal prints and wild colors. Some can been
seen as tacky but it largely depends on the person wearing it.
This dress for example... I'm not a fan of the flowers on it but I love
the rest of the print. I would let that slide though since wrap dresses
are universally flattering. I need to check it out in stores. It looks fun.
Tie Front Wrap Dress Old Navy $29.50
This one would look so good with a tan, sun, and the ocean.
It would be perfect for city life with the correct shoes and a modern
cropped jacket or cardigan.
Braided-Strap Empire Dress Old Navy $35.oo
I would use this as inspiration for the next two tops.
Since the print is so strong and wild. Down play it with some
modern and elgant pieces. I love the idea of these prints peaking
out of a Chanel inspired tweed coat.
Keyhole Top Old Navy $15.00
Mix-Print Henley Tank Old Navy $14.50
I am a huge fan of ethnic prints so I am excited at these prices and variety.
It just so fun to dress up in and make different outfits happen.
Old Navy, FTW!
