Tip Top Step
I always blog about things I pretend
I'm going to buy...BUT I am really going
to get these. They will be my everyday shoes.
I love the classic style modernized with the
corduroy/tweed combination. The perfect step
to take towards my new fall shoe collection.

A Tapestry Romance
I really enjoyed the digital tapestry theme in the
Matthew Williamson Fall 2008 show. It would
be super sick to actually own any of those pieces which
is very unlikely for me.
However, I ran into the scarf from
the same collection on Net-A-Porter.com.
I find accessories to be the key to most outfits. And
ultimately, I think this scarf would be a better investment
since it's the textile print I'm in love with anyways.

Trend Alert: SLASHINGS
Slashes are the sophisticated way to have holes
in your clothes. No more tore up jeans and fringed
hems. They are key for having the perfect color
peek. It is modesty at it's best and with the right
placement can reveal just enough skin. Definitely
a nice update for, otherwise, classic pieces.
When I saw the new Dior Homme
collection I immediately thought of these
boots.
Pierre Hardy Fall 2008
It's become obvious that Pierre Hardy is
by far one of my favorite shoe designers.
He is innovative in all he does and every
time I see a new collection my whole
perspective on life changes! Serious stuff, yo!
Dior Homme Spring 2009

I dream of owning these pants.
Color Peek
Skin peeks!

Paris Fashion Week: Chalayan Rocks

Looks like someone else was inspired by geological
formations. I love these stone prints!
I guess I am not that big of a nerd... here are a few more
pieces from Fall 2008 by Hussein Chalayan.

Check out the rest of the collection at style.com
But who could ever forget his Spring 2007 Collection?
Watch the whole video. Chalayan is so innovative and amazing!

Peter Som CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund | Fall 2008
I still have a few more picture from fashion week...These are some
from the American Express sponsored Peter Som show. It was to help
raise money for the Council of Fashion Designers.
The collection included Spring 2008 pieces as well as a few from
the Fall 2008 collection which had been shown a few days prior.

Good Karma and Awesome Food At Peter Som

Those are John Varvatos.
Limited Edition Christian Lacroix Evian bottles. These were specifically designed for fashion week. There are two in my life now.
These blue velvet Christian Louboutins were all alone and posed just for me.

I peeked into Temperley and got a picture of these ladies scraping
the souls of the shoes so the models don't slip. It was painful to watch.
I will do a review on all of the collections I saw in the next couple of
weeks. Just kind of busy with school and figuring out how to move to
NY by the end of this year. Soul cleansing is mixed up in all that as well.

Backstage | 3.1 Phillip Lim | Fall 2008
I have way too many pictures from backstage at Phillip Lim.
I'm sure some of you will enjoy these anyways.
Immediately after the show, everyone runs backstage to interview the designer.

I am back in Houston. I've missed almost two weeks of school so I REALLY need to catch up. I promise I will update daily. I also have two more classes starting. I am extremely excited for Advanced Sketching with Marina. Maybe I will start posting sketches soon.
