It's All About the Benjamin... Cho
I basically try to blog about things or ideas to reference
back to. I really liked Benjami Cho's Spring 2008 collection.
It wasn't anything too out of the ordinary but I really liked
the details and idea of it. I am a sucker for a beautiful silhouette
and the right fabric.
The concept to this design is so simple yet to
work fabric into doing that is not an easy task.
That blouse would be such a nice addition to any
wardrobe particularly mine.
I love the detailing and cut of those
pants. The rope detail is really interesting.
And I'm always such a nerd for stuff like this:

So love how the ribbons tie the
Agate pieces together.
Beautiful Silhouette
Dress is a tad too short on her

Late To Class
"Creativity has no nationality, so I don't want to leave any stones
unturned. I love understanding and seeing different cultures. At Christmas,
I hung out with a Maasai tribe, and I sang, danced, and drank with them. It
was the most amusing experience. I wasn't 'John Galliano the fashion designer.'
I was just their new friend. There were lions, tigers, and giraffes. We held hands,
we danced, and I didn't know what the real world was anymore. It was very
humbling, honest, and pure."
-John Galliano, Harper's Baazar, April 2008
I read an article on John Galliano in the new Harper's Bazaar yesterday.
I saw this quote and it sounded so magical and ... I basically want to get
drunk and dance with an African tribe too. Inspiring stuff.

Spring Necessities
According to Google, it's officially the first day of Spring!
The sun is blazing here in Texas... therefore I really
need this hat in my life.
Susanna Fedora
$10.80 Forever21
I once owned a straw hat in fifth grade... with a huge sunflower
on it. I did, and it was dope... maybe I could add one to this one. ;)
Sophie Ombre Scarf
$7.80
Forever 21
Technically I could make my own and maybe
I might... But this will be a good substitute until I
have the time to think about dyeing before sewing.
Miu Miu Metallic gladiator sandals
$395.00
Net-A-Porter
And my feet want to marry these shoes for the next six months. Sexy.
I need to go shopping... I am sad for new things.

Pretty In Floral

I took this over a month ago and have forgotten to post it. I absolutely
loved this whole outfit. She said her dress was vintage. I dig the paint
brush stroke effect on the print. All the different tones of pink are dreamy
and her hair is flawless.

Spring Trends: Fringed Sandals
As I was flipping through the new W the other day I recognized these
sandals from my previous post. Yes, Fringe! Gladiator! Sandals!!! They
are Etro Spring 2008.
Which makes sense since those are Tanya Dziahileva's feet and she walked the show.
Of couse, these got me obsessed with finding my own pair of fringed
sandals for Spring. I found a variety of styles at different prices.
Fringe T Strap Sandal $28.00 Urban Outfitters
Fringe Sandal £40.00 Top Shop
Sorry I don't do conversions this late!
Antik Batik Fringe Sandal £85.00 Asos.com
3.1 Phillip Lim
Helen Fringe Sandal $150.00
eLuxury.com
Prada Fringe sandal $332.62 Amazon.com
These will definitely be fun to work into some Spring outfits.
I would suggest pairing them with a beautifully cut bright floral dress!
Try to keep your outfits nice and pretty since these sandal do have the
possibility of looking too casual.
Or finish off your look with this awesome
Agate Necklace from Urban Outfitters
$38.00
