I just saw this commercial and thought some of you might enjoy it.
I do think more people in this city should ride the Metro rail so maybe
we won't be one of the fattest cities in America.

Summer Flare
The weather in Texas is getting crazy hot.
Luckily, I have successfully checked off my
list of summer necessities, which included:
Sun Glasses
Cut-off Denim Shorts
Boat Shoes
Perfect Red Flats
Sunblock
Canvas Wedge
And I can't forget the perfect bathing
suit. Here are my top four summer picks.
Chanel Spring 2007
I remember wanting this so
bad when it first came out.
Retro Hightwaist Bikini
Top: $24.99
Bottom: $27.99
Victoria's Secret
Sweet!!!! I want the bottoms in black and
the top could be like a neon retro floral print.
Chanel Spring 2007
Retro One-piece
Victoria's Secret $51.99
I like this one more than the
Chanel one. The cut is flawless.
Polkadot Highwaist Bikini
Top: $31
Bottom: $28
Victoria's Secret
With a big red flower in your hair! So Dita!
Carmen Marc Valvo Shirred One-piece
Victoria's Secret $117
Quite possibly the most flattering
bathing suit in the world.
These are all flattering to any figure so work it!

Color Obsessions
These are the colors and things that have been on my mind... for quite some time.

Lapis Lazuli is such a distinct blue. I have a dope necklace
pendant of this stone. I have been craving this color
real bad.

I have been painting my nails with this orange nail
polish called Times Square Tangerine Creme by N.Y.C.
I have also been using orange colored lipstick everyday.
Maybe I like it so much because it's reminiscent
of a night filled with heavy Sparks drinking.

Pharaoh King Tutankhamen's Burial Mask
In conclusion, I decided to fix this problem fast and cheap.

$4.80 at Forever XXI
Yes! I love the cut and they are much brighter in real
life. These basic tees are so good for layering or
adding quick color to any outfit. I also got the gray
and will be getting more ASAP.

Another Night
20's Silhouette, Bow-tie Necklace, Vintage Lace Camisole
I love styling Linda. I tend to dress her in things I
can't wear. Just about anything looks fabulous on her.
That dress was very unappealing on the rack. But I
recognized the silhouete and knew it would suit her perfectly.
ev,
Sheer and I am obsessing over
that color for the summer
It looks like Linda is hitting on me.
Mel
Check out the yellow "tribal" Make up. So dope.
It was really subtle though and only showed in
strong lighting or with flash.
Jen. I picked out that dress. So refined. Jen is 19
and that dress definitely added a new level of maturity.

Hello Lover!
Just the other night I couldn't stop obsessing
over these Pierre Hardy Boots. I kept thinking
to myself:
"If I had to wear any shoe for the
rest of my life... it would be these"
The good news is I found some similar
enough to keep me happy!
They also remind me of the black
jersey mesh I used in my collection.

Love Birds

Alexander McQueen Spring 2007
This skirt and I had a very brief encounter earlier
today. Of course, at the time I thought it was a dress
that was too small on me!
I was very surprised to find a McQueen at
the Neiman Marcus Last Call in Katy Mills. It
only cost about $1,500 and that was on sale too.
Birds are my favorite animal so I was so excited to
even try it on. Check out the Bird Lace
Detail. So intricate and delicate, I melted inside.
Sooooo Beautiful... These pictures do it no justice.

Prada For Almost Nada
I was at the mall yesterday when something
so pleasing yet disturbing caught my eye.
It's no secret that floral is the IT print and
trend of the season. The window display at Express
is what made me stop and stare.
Obviously reminded me of the 2008 Prada Resort Collection .
All of the Prada Collections this Spring have been making
me crazy. So it was pretty awesome to find something so
exactly similar!
I dont tend to think of Express as being so fashion forward and I looked
at other stuff on thie site... pretty cheesy club gear and work basics. I hope
they don't do well so I can get one on sale ;)
Silk Strapless Dress in Midnight Roses
$128.00 Express.com
This is the one I want, if any... Loving
the silhouette and retro rose print.
Birthday Dress or Half my Ticket to L.A.? Hmmm...

School Gym Fashion
I havent posted pictures of the fashion show because I wasn't too
excited about the results. The first feeling I got when it was over can
only be described as relief. There are just so many pictures so I am going
to make separate post. These are some of the preparation before the show...
My Bags and Anya's Tool Box
Paul Mitchell Design Team did the Hair and Makeup for my girls.
There was some drama with the "Promotions Class" who thought I stole
them from the school. Actually, Whitney is a friend and hooked it up
when the school originally flaked.
Paul Mitchell Design Team from the school at Town & Country
Momo the biggo Bug-O
I wanted the hair to be curly and teased and HUGE.
Paul Mitchell Design team did such a great job on our models!
Jen Pena
I wanted the make up to be a red wine lip and
touch of plum to enhance their eye color.
Judy is from Uganda and so perfect. We
stalked her down at the Galleria.
Phoenix was one of Anyas model... Finger waves were
popular in the '20s but they did a great job making it modern.
Holly G
Phoenix is in highschool but she makes
her uniform look so cute.
Rehearsal
Special Thanks to Mo Maun, Jen, Holly, Whitney, and Todd!
Finally, I'm so glad to be out of school since I will be able to
concentrate on styling, blogging and leisure reading.
Will post more pictures tomorrow!
