New Heights

This shoot was pure fun & it got real nasty when the sun went down. Pad Thai, Chimay, & Fudgesicles included. I haven't styled anything in a while and I'm itching to do something. I have a few photo stories I want to do. Need more photographers and
models... Alexander Wang leather vest and Fiorentini + Baker boots are dying to be pulled.

Beyonce Upgraded

I never really have had the desire

to save a picture of Beyonce.... at least
not until 5 minutes ago.

Kudos to Beyonce for not wearing a House of Dereon/Tina Knowles design. Instead, she opted for a more daring, cyber chic steez. She rocked a pleated Gareth Pugh dress and  pulled the look together with a robot like hand piece. And of course, you can do no wrong strutting in any Giuseppe Zanotti pump.

Not So Enchanting

Photographer: Alex O
Model: Sarah F. w/ Neil Hammil
Styling: Yvette C. aka me

Clothes pulled from:
Barney's Co-Op in the Galleria
Brown Eyes Blue Boutique in Rice Village
Shoes from Donald J. Pliner

The task was to style a fall shoot in June...
the problem with that is stores don't have fall
merchandise in June. I did my best and was not
happy with the models at all. I don't know what
the deal is but this editorial was suppose to be out
in July then it was pushed to August then September.
The photographer asked me to restyle the shoot with
clothes pulled from Sak's which I declined since he wasn't
going to pay me for it. And I would have to work on my only
day off. It is hard work making sure you don't get charged for
messing up really expensive clothing (make up, careless models).
This seemed more like a test to me then an editorial shoot.
Still not my full potential but definitely happier with the
clothes then previous shoots I've done. Except for rap shoots
which always equal bling, tight clothes, fur and shiny things.
Anyways, send me your thoughts criticism and suggestions.
I'm down for negative or positive but keep it constructive.
I will post more from another set soon.

Another Night

20's Silhouette, Bow-tie Necklace, Vintage Lace Camisole
I love styling Linda. I tend to dress her in things I
can't wear. Just about anything looks fabulous on her.
That dress was very unappealing on the rack. But I
recognized the silhouete and knew it would suit her perfectly.

ev,
Sheer and I am obsessing over
that color for the summer

It looks like Linda is hitting on me.

Mel
Check out the yellow "tribal" Make up. So dope.
It was really subtle though and only showed in
strong lighting or with flash.

Jen. I picked out that dress. So refined. Jen is 19
and that dress definitely added a new level of maturity.
