Plastic Yet Fantastic

F-troupe

Bathing Shoe
$45.

At first glance, these look
like a super sweet cut out
canvas sneaker. But they aren't,
in fact, they are actually molded
plastic with a canvas texture.
Easy to care for and great with
any summer outfit. Lust.

Summer Casual

Although, this shirt dress is black I wanted
to add bold but fun accessories. The purse I
used to help keep my look very summery.

Current Obsessions:
Electric blue slingbacks
PINK lips

Less Is More

All this rain has got me screen shopping.
Look at these sweet finds... I like to post
classic pieces that are mostly universally
flattering.

Bandeau Swimdress
Target $34.99

I have been searching for a suit like this
for almost two years and finally Target got
it right! Yeah, one pieces don't leave the best
tan lines but who cares when you can rock this!
Lately, I've been seeing one pieces that show less
skin but are still way sexier than bikinis.

Anika Brazil Maillot
Anthropologie.com $178.00

The cut of this suit is so flattering! That coral
sash is hot and helps define the smallest part
of your waist. Sure, it's a little pricey for a bathing
suit but ...some things are just worth eating
Taco Bell for one week straight.

Confessions Of A Shoe Addict

An obvious weakness of mine is shoes. I like to buy them,
stare at them, sleep on them (Williamsburg) or just kill my
feet in them. I am the type of person who will buy a shoe whether
it fits or not. I will go through all sorts of pleasurable pain to wear
a pair of beautiful shoes.

Here are my current favorite summer sandals.

ANKLE CUFF SANDALS:

Maison Martin Margiela
Sandal Ankle Bootie
$595.00 eluxury.com
These are the sickest! Especially the knee-high
version (not pictured). I would probably
wear these all summer if I could call them mine.

But since I can't, the cuffed element lives
on for a whole lot cheaper...

HALSTON Cuff Boot Sandal
£25.00 Top Shop

C2 Canvas Wrap Sandal
$59.99 Urban Outfitters
So good. Love the leather detail!

ZIPPER ACCENTS:
Exposed zippers have been an obsession I've
had for the longest. In school, I did exposed zippers
on my whole collection. My teachers hated me for it.
Of course, most of the design teachers are stuck in 1983
and haven't seen a runway since.

Christian Louboutin
Rodita Zipper Sandal
My heart beats twice as fast
when I look at this beauty. This
is the kind of love that last a lifetime.

Matt Bernson Swain Sandal
$198.00 Urban Outfitters
I am a sucker for a chunky gold zipper.

Marc by Marc Jacobs
Zipper rosette flats
$207 & Sold Out at Net-A-Porter.com
I bought a bunch of cheap zippers from
my teacher in April and I now know exactly
how I am going to use them.

STILL FRINGING AROUND:

HACKLE-H.Leg Fringe
£25.00 Top Shop
And finally a complete rip off of
those Etro Gladiator Sandals!

FLAVIO Fringe Sandal
£40.00 Top Shop
And here is the best way to do
the fringe thing this summer.

Summer Flare

The weather in Texas is getting crazy hot.
Luckily, I have successfully checked off my
list of summer necessities, which included:

Sun Glasses
Cut-off Denim Shorts
Boat Shoes
Perfect Red Flats
Sunblock
Canvas Wedge

And I can't forget the perfect bathing
suit. Here are my top four summer picks.

Chanel Spring 2007
I remember wanting this so
bad when it first came out.

Retro Hightwaist Bikini
Top: $24.99
Bottom: $27.99
Victoria's Secret
Sweet!!!! I want the bottoms in black and
the top could be like a neon retro floral print.

Chanel Spring 2007

Retro One-piece
Victoria's Secret $51.99

I like this one more than the
Chanel one. The cut is flawless.

Polkadot Highwaist Bikini
Top: $31
Bottom: $28
Victoria's Secret
With a big red flower in your hair! So Dita!

Carmen Marc Valvo Shirred One-piece
Victoria's Secret $117
Quite possibly the most flattering
bathing suit in the world.

These are all flattering to any figure so work it!
