Men with Style

I think these are all great examples of men's style. It shows
variety, uniqueness, and ideas you can work into your own.
These were taken in Milan during Fashion week.


He makes diet coke look hot... Also small details like the
partially tucked in shirt always make THE difference. The leather
bomber is a classic and roughens up the juicy lumberjack print.


Great example of layering. Love the electric blue color pop.
He must be wearing about three scarves and he wears them well.
Texture is added with the different tones of gray.


This blazer is great. I love his scarf!


I like everything about this!


I love the modern colored scarves added to a 70's
looking plaid. The unexpected colors work so well
together.


This shade of purple is magnificent. The stripes and plaid
play so well with it. Military style always bring some sexy into
an outfit. Dress pants and sneakers are one of my favorite things
on guys. A great way to be stylish and formal YET comfortable.


Note the bags most of these guys have. Yes, guys can carry bags....
No, this does not look feminine nor is it called a purse. Just be confident
about it and rock a hot bag.

Metallic Jeans

I know I have not been mentioning much for the boys and this is me making up for it.

These are hot. We love Raf Simons and luckily these are currently
on sale! I suggest pairing them with basic tees or button ups. They
crackle with wear to give them a more distressed look. These are
the perfect jeans to add texture and excitement to any boring day.



WOMEN:

Metallic Zip Hem Jeans £25.00 Top Shop
Silver will be big in the spring. Don't be afraid to rock these in the day time,
I would wear something ruffly to sweeten up the edginess. They can easily
pass for club wear so that is why I would pair them with a flowy, girly shirt.
Think ruffles, silk and pearls!

These Burgers Are Crazy

Remember this crazy Food Fight collection by Jeremy Scott?

Fall 2006

I was pretty fascinated when I ran into this crocheted hamburger
dress. It is pretty genius and I wish I had my own. I love the
intricate details and the obvious hard work put into it.

It kind of brings the whole "You Are What You Eat" idea to another level
and in that case, I hope that patty is soy!

Something Shiny For Your Inner Magpie

Usually glitter is nostalgic of Elmer's glue, construction paper and
the Spice Girls. Luckily, the latter has reunited and so has my love
affair with glitter! I have these fabulous glittered heels I bought in
a vintage shop in L.A. and I can't wait to start rocking them!

Luxurious Skull

For the Love of God

This is a Damien Hirst sculpture of a human skull cast in platinum. Yes, those are all flawless ethically sourced diamonds. The skull is encrusted with 8,601 diamonds. The icy head was reported to have sold for $122 million to an anonymous buyer.
The skull is showcasing its original teeth. But if you ask me it is definitely missing...

I never cared much about Katie Holmes and I try not
to blog about celebrities. However, this look is just
flawless. Everything from the Lanvin dress to those
famous red soles is on point.

Oh, and the Posh bob is rather boring. Add some fun to
it with bangs. I love this cut. It is classic and daring.

Style On A Budget: Old Navy Chic

I randomly checked the Old Navy site and was surprised to find some
really cute things. We can thank Old Navy's new creative director,
Todd Oldham, for the sophisticated and fresh styles offered.

The following items can translate from casual work attire to fun party outfits.
Wrap-Front Shirts $24.50
This shirt is universally flattering for all figures. The deep V elongates
the neck and body giving the illusion of height especially when paired
with a great pair of heels.

Double-Ruffle Tops $26.50
This blush colored top is very sophisticated. You should not accessorize the neck
given that there is so much detail already going on. I would suggest a bold
bracelet or plenty of bangles.


Trapeze Shift Dress $19.75

You can't go wrong with a little black dress especially when it is a classic silhouette
